  • YES! The earlier you can start lessons the better. Students tend to get busier as they get older, so I always suggest lessons in the beginning years to create a good foundation. Then, if cello isn’t their main focus later in high school, they will have established confidence on the cello that will stick with them anytime they play the cello.

  • Duration of practice sessions varies for each level of playing. The most important thing is to have a regular daily practice routine. I suggest 5 days minimum for noticeable progress in playing.

  • I have at least two recitals a year. One in December and one in May.

  • Yes! I currently have several adult students. Generally 4-8pm on weekdays is in high demand for students in school, so I try to schedule adult lessons during the day if possible.

  • If there is room available in my schedule, yes. Your lesson tuition will be adjusted to only include the weeks you will be at lessons.
